Anzac Day

 

ANZAC day is a cause for remembrance of the soldiers that New Zealand lost in the wars at Gallipoli. ANZAC day is on the 25th of April and has been going since 1921. The first landings at Gallipoli were on the 30th of April 1915. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. During the battle the Australians lost 7,600 soldiers and New Zealand only lost 2,500 but with many thousands wounded
